The staff of AGC is a unique group of individuals who are united in a shared, God-inspired burden for souls.  Each member of the staff has been blessed by God with distinct talents and an amazing capacity  for love, acceptance, persistence, and resilience that makes them perfect for the role they serve. That is truly their desire - to serve. Above all else they have a deep desire to bring God all the glory and honor that is due Him and to lead others to do the same.

Pastor Coffey is an inspiring apostolic minister and leader. He is straight-forward, anointed, and uniquely humorous in a manner that allows him to connect with others in a very real way.

Pastor Coffey has served in ministry for 31 years. Eighteen of those years have been in service to the congregation in Portsmouth. To quote him, “it seems as though I have always been involved in ministry.” Born in Richmond, IN, in 1964, Pastor Coffey was baptized in Jesus name and received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 9.  Growing up in the home of a Pastor who founded a church and served the congregation for approximately 40 years, he was taught first hand that putting God first was not an option.  He clearly embraces that teaching in every aspect of his life, putting God first in all things.

Over the years Pastor Coffey has served as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and assistant pastor. Along with these duties he also served 8 years as the Indiana District A.L.J.C. Youth President. Following this, he, his wife and six month old daughter (Bethany) then set out to travel and evangelize for 5 years across the southern region of the United States. It was at that time that the Lord brought them to Portsmouth.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Pastor Coffey serves as  an A.L.J.C. Ohio District Presbyter and World Missions Director.

“I would like to invite you to come and join us in service. I, along with the entire congregation, would love to worship with you.” -  Pastor Robert Coffey III

Sunday School Coordinator

Bathsheba (Beth) Colley

"Being a school teacher for about 30 years, I believe that is does 'take a village to raise a child'. Every year when I get new students, I believe that they are my little world and I am to take care of them just like my own. If we all take care of our little worlds it will be a lot better bigger world."

Bathsheba (Beth) Colley is a uniquely quirky and amazingly annointed coordinator with a heart for the children. She strives to see every child succeed. She goes above and beyond to see to both their physical and spiritual well being.

Beth was born in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1958. She received the gift of the Holy Ghost on February 28, 1978 and was baptized in Jesus name on April 2, 1978. She holds a Master's degree in Education and teaches for the Portsmouth City School system. She has three children of her own, one step son, and two grandchildren.
